We Are Wash-Gove

We are a non-profit association, formed in 2010, devoted to the interests of the business community in the town of West Roxbury, MA. located on both Washington and Grove street.

Promoting unity by building professional relationships, sharing opportunities, resources & ideas.

Promoting Goodwill Among Business Owners

• We encourage excellent service to townspeople

• We share ideas and resources with other business owners

• We encourage networking with other businesses

• We have guest speakers and social gatherings

• We hold several meetings per year

• We work closely with our town officials and government

Interacting with Town Government

• We are proactive with town government decisions which include sign ordinances

  traffic studies, MBTA, schools, civic duties and zoning issues

• Providing summer internships to West Roxbury teenagers annually

• Donating year round to the parkway baseball, boston public schools, The greater boston 

  food bank, toys for tots and children of St. Jude research hospital

• Supporting financially our men & women of honor. (Boston Fire & Police)

• Providing support and sponsorship to all West Roxbury main street and civic groups

• Supporting and working with the community neighborhood development office

Encouraging Growth of In-Town Business

• We promote doing business at Wash-Grove whenever possible

• We market through group advertisement

• We have seminars and workshops on issues pertinent to small business

• We encourage Wash-Grove, group discounts

• We encourage business to business referrals

• We hold a christmas tree lighting, a holiday event centered around the children of 

  the community and highlighting the comrodery of local business merchants each year
